Just wondering if this is 32 or 64 bit? I previously unknowingly downloaded the 64bit version and it keeps crashing Wine (Windows XP emulator) on Ubuntu Studio Linux. I think I need the 32-bit.

It's not specified whether it's 32 or 64bit, but I installed it on Windows 10 64bit, and the software works properly, which means it's compatible with both architecture modes. However, things changed, since you've mentioned an emulator and Linux. The software might not work in the environment specified by you.
To render an Acid Xpress file to MP3, go to File > Render As then a window will appear from where you can choose the output file format. You have the possibility to save as WMA, WAV, or MP3.
